There is one thing that puzzles me about the beach.  The sound of the waves crashing on the beach can be so soothing and relaxing yet they break with such force that you get tossed around with such violence.  All of us (except Mary) really enjoyed that waves this year.  We certainly respected their strength and power but also really enjoyed riding them in to shore.
